Come support our students as they act and sing away the night on Tuesday, November 17 at 7:00 American Indian ProjectLast week we began our American Indian unit. Along with this unit, we will be assigning an American Indian project to be completed at home. An informational sheet with instructions and expectations was sent home in your child’s agenda. We have had a great first two weeks of school and it's hard to believe Fall begins tomorrow. Last week we adopted trees outside the front entrance to Hartwood Elementary. The students have chosen a tree to follow over the school year. They will watch their tree and note the changes over the seasons in their science folders we have created for them. The students will also get to track their own changes as they will be photographed with their trees during Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Just a reminder: Parent Night is next week!! Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 in your child's classroom to learn about our daily routines and what we have been doing in school thus far.
